Installation and setup tips
Mount the sensor square to the target and keep anything else out of the roughly 10° sound cone. Keep the target beyond the blind zone of about 80 mm. Connect the M12 connector to 24 V DC, wire the 0–10 V signal to a PLC analog input and the PNP output to a digital input. Use teach-in to set the measuring window and the switching point, then check the output across the full range. For foam or very soft materials, test first, because they can absorb the sound.
