LED tower lights β€” also called signal towers, stack lights or andon lights β€” show machine status across the shop floor at a glance. Industrypapa stocks the VoxinTech VXT-TL50 and VXT-TL55 ranges in one, two and three stack versions, 55Β mm diameter, 24Β V AC/DC, with or without a continuous buzzer. GST invoice, pan-India delivery.

What the colours mean

Signal towers follow a convention that operators read without thinking, so it is worth keeping to it. Red means stopped or faulted β€” the machine needs attention now. Yellow (amber) means running but needing intervention soon: low material, a warning threshold, a shift about to end. Green means running normally. A buzzer is added where the machine is out of the operator's line of sight, or where the noise floor on the line makes a light alone easy to miss.

A single red unit is the usual choice for a fault indicator on a small machine. Red and green covers stopped versus running. Red, yellow and green is the full status set for a production line where an operator is managing several machines at once and needs to know which one to walk to.

The code reads left to right: TL55 is the 55Β mm body, the letter group R / RG / RGY lists the colours from the top down, A is the version without a buzzer and B the version with a continuous buzzer, and 1M is the one-metre flying lead. All the TL55 units above are steady (non-flashing) and run on 24Β V AC or DC.

Specifying a signal tower

  • Supply voltage. These are 24Β V AC/DC. Confirm what the panel actually provides before ordering.
  • How many colours. One for fault only, two for stopped/running, three for a full status set.
  • Buzzer or not. Add it where the machine is out of sight or the line is noisy; leave it off in quiet inspection areas.
  • Steady or flashing. The units listed are steady. Tell us if the specification calls for flashing.
  • Mounting. Pole, direct base or bracket β€” check the height clearance above the machine before choosing.
  • Cable length. Supplied with a 1Β m lead; extend inside the panel rather than joining it in the open.

Where they are used

The installations we supply into are CNC and machining cells, injection moulding, packaging and filling lines, assembly stations, conveyor systems and warehouse pick faces. In each case the tower does the same job: it removes the need for anyone to walk to a machine to find out whether it needs them. On a line running several machines per operator, that is usually the cheapest productivity improvement available.

Buying LED tower lights in India

Industrypapa supplies signal towers and stack lights to machine builders, packaging and pharma plants, and maintenance teams across India. Stocked units ship the same or next working day, everything is invoiced with GST and delivered pan-India, and we are happy to quote a quantity for a whole line rather than a single unit.

Related ranges: 24Β V power supplies, limit switches, temperature controllers, connector cables and the full VoxinTech range. For anything not listed, send us the part number.

Frequently asked questions

What is a tower light used for?

It shows the running state of a machine in colour so it can be read from across the shop floor β€” typically red for stopped or faulted, yellow for a warning, green for running normally.

What voltage are these?

The VXT-TL55 units run on 24Β V AC or DC and are supplied with a one-metre flying lead. Confirm your panel supply before ordering; we can quote a matching 24Β V power supply alongside.

What is the difference between the A and B versions?

A is the light only. B adds a continuous buzzer in the base for machines that are out of sight or on a noisy line.

Can I add a colour later?

The TL55 units listed are supplied as fixed one, two or three stack assemblies. If you expect the status scheme to grow, order the three-stack version now β€” the price difference is small next to replacing the unit.
