Rotary encoders turn shaft rotation into a signal a controller can count - incremental for speed and relative movement, absolute for a position that survives a power cut. We supply Datalogic incremental and programmable absolute encoders with M23 connectors, solid and hollow shafts, and the resolutions commonly specified on Indian packaging and material-handling machinery.

Specify by shaft type and mounting first, then resolution in pulses per revolution, then the output stage your input card expects - push-pull, line driver or open collector. Shaft loading and the coupling you use decide how long it lasts.
