Description: Tri-Tronics BF-A-36TS bifurcated glass fibre optic cable — two stainless-steel braided legs converging into a single threaded barrel tip, for diffuse (reflective) sensing from one sensing head.
A bifurcated fibre carries the emitted light down one leg and the returned light back up the other, so a single tip both sends and receives. That makes it the right choice where you can only reach one side of the target — inside a machine guard, down a chute, or into a tight fixture where a through-beam pair will not fit. The stainless braid takes heat, abrasion and flexing that a plastic-sheathed fibre would not survive.
The threaded barrel end gives you a positive mount with two nuts rather than a clamp, which matters on anything that vibrates.
