The Datalogic S45-PR-5-B53-PH is a high-performance miniature photoelectric sensor in the European-style S45 housing. It works in retro-reflective mode: the red beam is returned by a reflector and the output switches when an object interrupts it, with a range of 0.5–2 m on the R4 reference reflector.
Three teach-in modes (reflector, dynamic and reflector-object) let the sensor adapt to the application, and the IN wire allows teaching from the PLC. It has a PNP output with selectable NO/NC, a 4-pin M8 connector, switching up to 1000 Hz and IP67 / IP69K protection.
