Product Overview
The Datalogic S7-6-E-P is a fiber optic amplifier from the S7 series. The amplifier stays in the cabinet or on a DIN rail while a plastic fiber carries the light to the detection point, so very small parts can be sensed in places where a normal sensor does not fit.
Setup is done with EASY TOUCH: one long press on the SET button teaches the sensor, with a fine-detection mode for difficult targets. A REMOTE input allows setting from the PLC and can lock the keypad. The model has no display, a 500 µs response time, PNP output and a 4-pole M8 connector.
