The Micro Detectors FMK6/BN-3H is an M18 inductive proximity sensor with a full-metal AISI 316L stainless steel housing and sensing face. Without a plastic cap, it withstands impacts, cleaning chemicals and high-pressure washdown much better than standard inductive sensors.
It detects metal targets up to 5 mm in a shielded (flush-mount) design, has NPN NO+NC outputs and an M12 connector. Ratings of IP67, IP68 and IP69K, 80 bar pressure resistance and full short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection make it suited to food, beverage and heavy-duty applications.
