MEWLC Tri-Tronics Safety Light Curtain

A registration mark sensor reads the printed mark on a moving web so the machine cuts, seals or applies a label in the right place. It is watching the step in reflected light between the mark and the material around it, not the presence of the web itself — which is why it is the sensor on form-fill-seal machines, flow wrappers and label applicators rather than an ordinary photoelectric.
The two adjusters on the top face let an operator set the sensor at the machine without a laptop or a handheld programmer, and the LED display shows the margin you have left, so a drifting mark can be spotted before it starts producing rejects. The M12 lead means a failed unit is swapped in seconds.
Before you order. Tell us the mark colour, the background material and the web speed. Contrast sensing depends entirely on those three things, and they decide whether this is the right unit or whether a different light source will hold the trigger more reliably.
