The Tri-Tronics TA-18 is a right-angle mounting bracket for sensors with an 18 mm threaded barrel, supplied with the locking nut needed to clamp the sensor in place.
Mounting is where most intermittent sensor faults actually originate. A bracket that flexes under machine vibration moves the sensing point by a few millimetres, and the resulting dropouts look electrical when they are mechanical.
