The VoxinTech VTMF12P-C124 is a metal face proximity sensor.
A metal-face (full-metal) proximity sensor replaces the plastic sensing face of a standard inductive sensor with a one-piece steel or stainless housing. That single change is what lets it survive the positions that destroy ordinary sensors: welding cells where spatter melts plastic faces, high-pressure washdown, and mechanically abusive material handling where the sensor takes knocks.
