Datalogic SRF slot sensors have the emitter and receiver built into the two arms of a fork, so the beam is always aligned. Objects passing through the slot are detected reliably, which makes them ideal for small parts, edges, tabs and holes. We stock the SRF-50, SRF-80 and SRF-120 sizes in PNP and NPN versions.

- Mount on a rigid bracket. Vibration can cause false switching on small targets.
- Wire the output. Match PNP (-P) or NPN (-N) to the controller input.
- Test with real parts. Check the smallest and fastest part switches reliably.
