Luminescence Sensor

Luminescence sensors detect marks that are invisible under normal light. They flood the target with UV and read the visible glow from a fluorescent mark, glue bead or coating - which makes them the right answer when a mark has to be present for the machine but absent for the customer.

Typical uses are UV-marked labels, adhesive verification on packaging lines, and print registration where the mark must not show on the finished product. Sensing distance, spot size and the response time your line speed demands are the numbers that matter.
