Datalogic S.p.A. has rebranded its industrial sensor division to Datasensing S.r.l. The brand is new — the product range, part numbers, datasheets and authorized distribution network in India remain exactly the same.
What is Datasensing?
Datasensing S.r.l. is the new corporate name for Datalogic's industrial sensors division. Since 2024, all photoelectric, contrast, label, ultrasonic, inductive and laser sensors that were sold under the Datalogic brand are now sold under the Datasensing brand. Part numbers, datasheets, certifications and warranty remain identical.
Why did Datalogic rebrand to Datasensing?
Datalogic Group reorganised its business into focused units. Industrial sensors moved into a dedicated company — Datasensing S.r.l. — to sharpen product focus, R&D investment and global distribution. The Datalogic Group continues to own Datasensing, and Italian manufacturing is unchanged.
