Retro-reflective

Installing an S100 Sensor
- Choose the mode. Retro-reflective for general detection, polarised for shiny products, through-beam for dirty or long-range jobs.
- Mount and align. Fix the sensor rigidly and align the beam to the reflector or receiver until the indicator is steady.
- Adjust sensitivity. Use the trimmer or teach button so the target switches reliably with some margin.
- Wire the output. Connect brown to +, blue to 0 V and black to the PLC input; check PNP or NPN matches your input card.
