Often searched as a “luminescence sensor”, the TLµ is Datalogic’s rugged contrast sensor for eye marks.
The Datalogic TLU (written TLµ) is a compact contrast sensor that detects registration marks on film, paper and labels. It uses red/green, RGB or white LED light — not UV — so it reads colour contrast rather than luminescence. For invisible UV marks, Datalogic offers luminescence versions in other families such as the S8. We stock 5 TLU models.

Is the Datalogic TLU a luminescence sensor?
No. The TLµ (TLU) is a contrast sensor using coloured or white LED light. For UV/invisible marks choose a luminescence sensor such as the S8 luminescence version.
What is the difference between TLU-011 and TLU-111?
They belong to the same TLµ family; the model digits change emission colour, output type and connection. Tell us your old model and we will match it exactly.
What distance does a TLU work at?
9 mm nominal, with a 1.5 × 5 mm spot.
What is the price of TLU-011 in India?
